Siesta Cove

Overview

With this project, we gave a very dated kitchen a beautiful new life. We wanted feminine, and modern and bright. This brave client was one of my first to go with gorgeous gold hardware and plumbing finishes. Instead of a breakfast table, we found two vintage chairs and had them reupholstered and made an area for reading and chatting, adding glam with rich textural fabrics and rugs and accessories. We also got to play with funky tile patterns and bold wallpaper and paint colors. This client wasn't afraid to color outside the lines, and the resultant design was stunning, original, and welcoming.
