Overview

With views of both the Gulf of Mexico and Downtown Sarasota, this Longboat Key Penthouse landed in our hands layered in twenty-year-old marble and wallcovering. We knew this place was special from the start. Beginning with the finish portion of the design, we stripped the walls, opened up the ceilings and re-worked the 3 bedroom 3-and-a-half-bathroom penthouse all with our client's trust in our design direction. Elevated, refreshing, chic, and functional were the driving elements for achieving a curated sense in this renovated space. Natural finishes were a no brainer as we sourced marble flooring, marble slabs, and accent tiles from Artistic Tile's Nashville showroom. Decorative lighting and furnishings came designed and fabricated as custom pieces out of Australia, Europe, and California. One of our favorite pieces is the six-arch custom console table sculpted from aluminum embellished in textured warm white plaster that lives in the back of the family room sofa. These pieces pair perfectly with the commissioned artwork throughout the Benjamin Moore White Dove coated walls and locally sourced range of decor and accessories. A timeless, exciting, yet sophistaced space for our client's to enjoy for years to come.
